It has to be said that it is much easier to buy presents for women than for men. Men are, well, just so hard to buy for and it requires much more calculated thinking as you cannot just go out and buy any gadget, it has to be the particular one that they have researched.

With women you can be more spontaneous in your gift buying as there are so many things that they would love to receive that they would just not buy themselves. Flower prints, candles, trinkets, all of these things give so much pleasure and need not cost the earth.

For me, it really is as enjoyable to give as to receive as I do enjoy shopping for presents for my mum and sisters. We have similar tastes and so I have a good idea of what they want and we have even been known to buy the same Christmas presents for each other by mistake.

You can never go wrong with a girly gift. There are not many women on this earth who do not like scented candles or bath bubbles. Girls like to be pampered and by buying something that bit special she will feel like a princess.

Age too, is not a factor as women like to feel, look and smell good whether they are twenty or eighty years old.
